The Tōtaranui Community of Learning was formed in 2017 and draws the majority of its learners from the north-west of Christchurch encompassing the suburbs of Bishopdale, Casebrook, Papanui and Redwood.
These suburbs are home to families from a diverse range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. This diversity presents both opportunities and challenges for Early Childhood Services (ECSs) and schools to respond to and effectively engage students in their learning.
